How to clean?
Clean shiny pieces with a jeweler's cloth or a soft cotton cloth, and a little saliva.
Clean the brushed finish with a clean, dry, Scotchbrite Pad or any other synthetic scrub pad.
Clean antiqued/oxidized pieces by rubbing them gently with a soft cotton cloth.

What are the ear wires made of?
I use sterling silver or 14 karat gold for all my ear wires.

The metals I use are sterling silver, brass, copper, steel, and gold, from recycled sources

I have been making jewelry for over 30 years. I remember the first time I bent silver wire around a mandrel. It was magical, I felt like I understood the material instinctively. I love making jewelry, designing things that enhance one's own beauty, things that are intimate, symbolic, meaningful. Jewelry is worn close to the body, often touched, caressed, held. It is personal expression of our beliefs, our self worth, our values.
Wearing handmade jewelry speaks of how important craft, originality, and quality is. Today we see a lot of disposable fashion, clothing and jewelry, shoes that are not meant to last. The materials are insubstantial, poor manufacturing, and all about profit. I strive to rage against this practice with my product. Every single item is made by my hands. I use high quality materials, crafted with great care for enduring quality and usability. My designs are everlasting style. I rarely follow trends, but do keep current fashion in mind. Classic, elegant, yet whimsical and natural is the feel of my style. I want my jewelry to be worn for a lifetime, and it has been. I have many happy customers who have been wearing my jewelry for decades.
